Joe Rogan criticized his nine-year-old daughter’s California elementary school for pushing “woke” ideology on their students

Rogan is an American podcaster, commentator, actor and comedian. In his podcast on Spotify, The Joe Rogan Experience, he discusses popular issues.

Woke education refers to bringing attention to racial discrimination and prejudice in the classroom.

In his Tuesday podcast, he said that since George Floyd’s killing, woke anti-racism ideology is being pushed in his daughter’s classroom. According to Rogan, an email was sent to families in May 2020, stating that students should not only not be racist, but should be anti-racist. Rogan argues that the children are too young to understand the concept of “anti-racist.”

Joe Rogan pushed back against the California elementary school that he claims has been teaching woke anti-racism ideology to his daughter since George Floyd‘s killing. In May 2020, George Floyd was killed at by Minneapolis police during an attempted arrest.

Rogan believes that educators encouraging the woke philosophy are “naive” and telling children to be “anti-racist” is unclear in its expectations and effect on young children.

Rogan has a history of racial controversy because there are old videos of him using the “n” word.

The podcaster’s comments about anti-racist education were made during an interview with playwright and filmmaker David Mamet.

Recently, progressives have been pushing Spotify to cancel Rogan’s podcasts on their platform, due to his comments about COVID and his racial slurs. Almost 300 doctors and scientists put their signature to an open letter to Spotify last January. They accused Rogan of spreading anti-vax misinformation and said he is a menace to public health.

Rogan said he would quit if Spotify tried to censor his podcast.
