Actress Anne Heche Dead After LA Crash

Actress Anne Heche reportedly was high on drugs when she lost control of her car and crashed into a Los Angeles home on Friday. The car went on fire, causing a devastating fire in the home of Lynne Mishele.

It reportedly took 59 firefighters over an hour to extinguish the flames caused by the crash.

The 53-year-old was declared dead on Friday from her burn injuries.

Earlier on Friday, newly released footage shows moments before the house crash, when Heche almost hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk in Mar Vista. Heche’s Mini Clubman raced down an alleyway past the woman, at what is reported to be at least 100 mph.

Friends of the actress had feared that she would die after injuries in the house crash that were the result of Heche driving at least 90 mph. According to police, cocaine was found in Heche’s blood following the crash.

The actress was not under the influence of alcohol, as was previously believed because a photo taken shortly before the accident showed what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage in her car’s cupholder.

Photos online show the destroyed Mini Clubman that Heche was driving with the airbag blown out, and a photo of Heche in her car earlier in the day. They also show the burned out house where Mishele lost all her life possessions.
