One of the witnesses to the shooting, a shelter resident, said that after a church service, he was resting in the dormitory when a man entered and turned on the lights. He said, the man then turned the lights off and immediately after, he heard gunfire. He said he quickly jumped out of his bed, and climbed out of a window.
“It’s crazy,” he said. “I don’t know what the hell is wrong with people, man.”
