Video of Violent Incident on United Airlines Flight Goes Viral

Chicago police responded to a call to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Sunday morning after an incident on a United Airlines flight from San Francisco. Three people on the plane were transported to a hospital for medical care, according to the police.

United Airlines said in a statement that a “disruptive customer” was removed by the police after the flight landed, and that a flight attendant was taken to the hospital for observation.

A passenger on the flight took a video of flight attendants talking to a woman carrying a child on the plane. The video shows a woman carrying a child and screaming at the flight attendants with the argument escalating, and the woman yelling, “I will kill you.” The video was posted on TikTok.

The publisher of the video, who was also a passenger on UA flight 476, said that the involved woman had been yelling earlier in the flight,  “Jesus Christ our savior was going to save us.” Right before landing, the woman got up from her seat, carrying the child, and was told to sit down by a crew member, at which point the argument with the flight attendants ensued.

“We’re grateful to our crew for handling this difficult situation with professionalism and for putting the safety of our team and our customers first,” United Airlines said in the statement.

There were no serious injuries and the FBI was notified. An investigation is underway.
