Hunter Biden’s lawyers are working 24/7 preparing to defend the president’s son against expected investigations once the Republicans regain control of the United States House of Representatives next year.
A legal team allied with Hunter Biden met in September to plan their strategy and file defamation suits against some of Hunter’s accusers.
Kevin Morris, Hunter’s attorney and long-time friend, recommends they go after Rudy Giuliani, Fox News and Eric Trump. He also suggested investigating the repairman who handed Hunter’s laptop to the FBI.
The President’s son has come under intense scrutiny by right-wing media and politicians in recent years over his allegedly shady business dealings in China and Ukraine. President Biden has also been accused of collusion with his son. House Republicans keep saying they plan to launch investigations into the President’s conduct regarding his son’s business.
Attorney Morris believes that Hunter’s legal team needs to be more aggressive. He pointed out that potential witnesses could include Tony Bobulinski, Hunter’s former business partner, and John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repairman who gave Hunter’s computer to the FBI.
Hunter’s finances are still being investigated as it was revealed that Twitter suppressed Hunter’s laptop leak story.
The legal team presents two competing approaches to dealing with the threat by Congressional members. First, Hunter’s lawyers can become more aggressive and go after Hunter’s critics, by suing them for defamation. Second, Hunter can keep his head down and wait for the scandal to die down.
The more aggressive plan would be led by two attorneys – Joshua A. Levy, to deal with with probes by the US House of Representatives, and Chris Clark to deal with federal investigations.
The White House has expressed that because Hunter is a private citizen, he should not be a target for Republican lawmakers.
John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repair shop owner who alerted the FBI of alleged incriminating content that he found on Hunter’s laptop, said that he was not surprised that some of the so-called “liberal” media had failed to cover Elon Musk’s accusations about the cover-up of Hunter’s photos by Twitter.
Elon Musk recently shared emails published on Twitter by Matt Taibbi, a journalist who said former Twitter executives purposely suppressed the Hunter Biden story during the 2020 presidential election campaign.
Twitter’s new owner, Musk, called the tweets “Twitter Files,” and accused Twitter management of colluding with Joe Biden’s campaign team. Internal emails from Twitter support the accusations that Twitter censored reporting on the Hunter Biden story.
According to Andrew Kerr, an investigative reporter, several tweets that contained damning images from Hunter Biden’s laptop, were deleted.
Emails were allegedly sent by President Biden’s team to Twitter executives telling them to review and delete the derogatory tweets.
Files on Hunter’s computer allegedly included emails of suspicious business deals with foreign officials and racial slurs.
The Biden administration has repeatedly denied being involved in the censorship of the Twitter posts.
