A video has been going virile and getting tons of likes on TikTok. It shows passengers aboard a Jetstar plane in Australia singing and cheering after a drunk woman was booted off a flight.
A passenger on the plane recorded the incident on a cell phone and shared it on the popular social media network. The video shows the moment the woman was forcibly removed from her seat by a federal officer.

The 42-year-old woman, unnamed but labeled a “Karen,” due to her drunken verbal performance, refused to leave the plane before takeoff to Melbourne, after several requests by the crew for her to calm down or get kicked off.
Crew members eventually had to call the Australian Federal Police, who physically escorted the woman off the plane before takeoff.
The drunk woman had been causing a chaotic scene and making other passengers uncomfortable, causing social media commenters to call her a “Karen.” She refused to follow directions from the Jetstar crew.
When the officer marched the woman down the aisle, the passengers cheered, applauded and started singing “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” a 1969 hit by Steam.
A Jetstar spokesperson said that the safety of the airline’s customers and the crew is the airline’s top priority and that the airline has a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior.
The woman was charged with disorderly conduct on an airplane.
Instances of passengers being disruptive on airplanes have increased significantly since the pandemic started, all over the world.
In August 2022, an Australian tourist was kicked off a Jetstar flight. The woman wanted to sit next to the window, and ended up in a physical fight with another woman because she couldn’t get her way. A flight attendant and two male passengers had to separate the two before anyone was injured. The entire plane applauded after the troublemaker was removed from the plane.
In November 2022, a family of five got booted from a Qantas flight headed for Sydney from Bali after the dad insulted the crew after a flight attendant was supposedly rude to his wife and made some comments that were allegedly racially biased. After the man insulted them, the flight crew had the family removed, including three small children, all under the age of three.
