Firework Caught in Brazilian Mom’s Clothes Results in Fatal Explosion

A young mother, Elisangela Tinem, 38, went to the beach to celebrate  New Year’s with her two kids at Praia Grande Beach in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

What happened next was shocking.

A firework got stuck on her chest, got lodged in her clothing, and exploded, immediately killing the young mom as her children and boyfriend watched.

The first part of the video shows fireworks in the sky. Seconds later, the video shows sparks on the ground followed by a loud explosion. People tried to run away to avoid getting hurt.

The video then shows a woman lying on the ground. Witnesses also said that a man, who was said to be Tinem’s boyfriend, was also near the explosion, but he managed to get away.

A witness described that people were reveling, but suddenly they heard a woman yelling in fear. The unexpected explosion happened so suddenly that no one was able to help her. Paramedics declared Tinem dead at the scene.

At the beach, 20-year-old Luiza Ferreira, said some of the firework displays were unauthorized.
