A South Carolina mother of two was shot and killed in a Kroger Supermarket parking lot on Valentine’s Day following an altercation with a stranger.

According to FOX 57 Columbia, Tyler Borys stated that his wife, 26-year-old Alexandria Cress Borys, argued with a stranger while loading goods into her car near the Kroger in Irmo, South Carolina.

The stranger, identified by the authorities as 23-year-old Christina Harrison, pulled out a gun and shot Alexandria Borys in the back. Mr. Borys stated that his wife was killed while their two-year-old and infant were in the car.

According to the Irmo Police Department, Borys was pronounced dead upon police arrival at the scene at 4:00 p.m.

Christina Harrison called the police around 90 minutes after she fled the crime scene and gave herself up.

After interviewing witnesses, investigators concluded that Harrison and Borys had a disagreement about the “right of way” and allegedly Borys spit at Harrison, inciting her anger to the point of murder.

Tuesday evening, Harrison was booked into the Lexington County Detention Facility. She is charged with murder, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent offense.

Borys was a licensed cosmetologist who also attended nursing school.

Adding to the family’s mourning, six days before, her brother died from a gunshot wound.
