Eight-Year-Old Boy in Jail After Slashing a Boy’s Throat and Making Murder Threats

An eight-year-old boy was taken into custody by the authorities in Florida after he was accused of slitting the throat of another child and making threats to “kill everyone” in the area, as reported by the police.

The horrifying and violent incident took place on March 11 at around 4:30 p.m. at a home in Clermont, Florida. It began when an eight-year-old foster child and a foster child who was 13 years old and lived at the house began fighting with each other.

The younger attacker, whose identity has been withheld due to his age, is said to have grabbed the older victim and begun choking him, only releasing his grip when the younger victim complained that he couldn’t breathe and was able to kick him off.

The victim later approached the eight-year-old and attempted to communicate with him, but to his surprise, the young boy grabbed a knife from the kitchen, slashed at him, and cut his throat.

A grownup who was there at the time of the incident took the knife from the eight-year-old child and gave it to a woman who lived in the house.

After that, the child ran off looking for the knife while yelling that he would “kill everyone.”

It is said that when the boy realized that his search was fruitless, he grabbed a stick and tried to hit the victim with it, but the other children in the house stopped him.

The deputies who responded from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office found the boy sobbing and pleading with them not to take him to jail.

As the officers attempted to place him in handcuffs and transport him to a detention facility, the boy allegedly kicked one of the officers and the car.

The victim, who was 13 years old, was examined by paramedics, but he declined to be transported to a hospital after it was determined that his injuries were not life-threatening. The laceration on his neck measured three inches.

The younger boy has a history of violence, and he is currently being charged with multiple offenses, including battery by strangulation and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
