Georgia Woman Crashes SUV Into Popeyes After Order Was Missing Biscuits

When she couldn’t get the order she wanted at Popeyes, a woman in Georgia vented her frustration. It didn’t end well.

According to police, a Georgia woman drove into the interior of a Popeyes restaurant on Walton Way after noticing her order was missing biscuits.

Belinda Miller, 50, of Augusta, Georgia, became enraged about the missing food item, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report obtained by WJBF-TV, and remained dissatisfied even after staff members corrected her order on February 18.

Miller plowed her car into a restaurant door after leaving and then returning, coming perilously close to running over an 18-year-old employee who was inside. According to the arrest warrant, the woman drove her car four more feet into the building before coming to a halt when construction rubble prevented her from going any further. She then dashed away from the scene of the crime.

Police were called shortly after 7:45 p.m. in connection with the accident and potential injuries. The front-end-damaged SUV was later located parked at Miller’s house. Four days later, she was arrested and sent to the Charles B. Webster Correctional Center, where she was charged with first-degree aggravated assault and criminal property damage.

In the incident report, Popeyes manager Jackie Blount stated that Miller had intimidated employees and contacted the restaurant prior to the incident and threatened to ram her car into the building. She reportedly advised someone in line to hurry because the enraged woman was returning.

Miller has previously crashed into buildings with the same vehicle. She claimed that she was inebriated and furious when she smashed her automobile into the side of an apartment building twice in May 2020.
