Hazing Incident Lands Georgia Teen in Hospital ICU

Last week, a 19-year-old from Georgia was hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit as a result of a bullying incident in which he was forced to consume dangerous amounts of alcohol and psychedelic drugs.

Trenton ‘Trent’ Lehrkamp, 19, is currently in stable condition but remains in the intensive care unit following hazing at a spring break house party on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, on March 21.

A Facebook account posted a video of Lehrkamp sitting in a chair while being hosed down, but police said it was from an older incident of bullying in which the teen was attacked.

The old video displays many witnesses who did nothing to stop the abuse, as well as one individual who appears to have exuberantly enjoyed the deplorable incident.

The police are investigating whether a photo of the same teenager currently circulating on Facebook was taken during the episode that landed Lehrkamp in the hospital last week.

The photograph depicts a victim who appears to be unconscious, sitting in a chair with several other teenage boys standing behind him.

According to the Facebook account where the photo was posted, the young men standing behind the victim bound the young man to his chair, covered him with spray paint, urinated and defecated on him, while he appeared to be very out of it.

The Glynn County Police Department has not released any further information regarding the incident, but it was revealed that the victim was dropped off at a hospital in an unresponsive state by three other teenagers, who left the hospital before the police arrived at 10:40 p.m.

According to the police’s press release, the victim exhibited no obvious signs of physical injury, but his clothing was soaked with urine.

Lehrkamp was placed on a ventilator and treated for dangerous intoxication caused by a combination of alcohol and other controlled substances.

The alleged incident’s location was searched for evidence and interviews were conducted, but the investigation is still ongoing. The Glynn County Police Department was able to interview Lehrkamp in the hospital on March 26 and hear his account of the evening’s events, according to their report.

According to a Facebook account set up to support Lehrkamp, a group of individuals the victim believed to be his friends tortured him for several hours until his life was threatened.
