Meghan Markle’s Family Reveals Secrets in Explosive Interview

Meghan Markle’s father’s side of the family spoke out about their strained relationship with Meghan in a candid interview on 7NEWS Spotlight.

Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., along with her half-sister Samantha and half-brother Thomas Jr., opened up about their thoughts on why Meghan chose to cut ties with them after joining the British Royal Family.

The family members believe Meghan publicly distanced herself from them as she considered them not royal-worthy. They haven’t been in touch with Meghan since 2018, when her father set up paparazzi photos before the royal wedding, resulting in Meghan severing ties with her dad’s side of the family. Samantha didn’t hold back, describing their relationship with Meghan as “toxic” and dysfunctional.

In the interview, Thomas Sr. expressed his wish to mend fences with his daughter, and the family shared old videos highlighting Meghan’s once-close bond with her father and the rest of the family. They also discussed Prince Harry’s remarks about Meghan grieving her father’s loss.

Thomas Sr. admitted that leaking Meghan’s private letter to the Daily Mail was hurtful and harsh, but he felt the need to “get his side out” after Meghan had shared the letter with six other people. The interview wrapped up with the unveiling of an old photo of Meghan, with the family speculating if it would upset her. They also took shots at Harry’s past antics and questioned if the couple truly wanted privacy.

Meghan’s strained relationship with her father and half-sister has been a topic of public interest for quite some time. Meghan has spoken about her father’s staged paparazzi photos and betrayal of her trust by leaking a private letter to the media, which deeply hurt her. As for her half-sister, Meghan has mentioned that they barely know each other, as Samantha is nearly 17 years older and they did not grow up together. Meghan’s comments about her father and sister highlight the complexity and pain of family dynamics, especially under the intense scrutiny that comes with being a member of the British Royal Family.
