The incident unfolded at a home on Sunset Lane in Antioch, a city in California’s Bay Area. Reports suggest that the shooting occurred when uninvited guests showed up at the birthday celebration for a 19-year-old man.

Seven people ended up being hit by the gunfire. One of the victims, Nadia Tirado, died from her injuries at the hospital, while officials expect the other victims to recover.
