Basketball Star LeBron James’ Son Suffers Cardiac Arrest

Bronny James, the 18-year-old son of basketball superstar LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest while participating in a routine practice session on the University of Southern California campus.

The incident occurred at the Galen Center, where USC conducts its practices. A prompt 911 call was made at 9:26 am on Monday, July 24, ensuring immediate medical attention. TMZ sources said the ambulance took the unconscious James as a Code 3, with lights and sirens blazing.

Bronny, a highly-touted four-star recruit, had recently committed to playing for USC in his freshman year.

The quick response from the medical staff allowed them to provide immediate treatment to Bronny on-site before rushing him to the hospital. Reports indicate that he is currently in stable condition and has been transferred out of the ICU.

LeBron and his wife, Savannah, have expressed their appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their exceptional dedication to the safety of their athletes.

Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, Bronny had an impressive high school career at Sierra Canyon, averaging 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game. He participated in the slam dunk competition at the high school showcase, following in his father’s footsteps.

The cause of the cardiac arrest remains uncertain.

As the James family requests privacy during this challenging time, the focus remains solely on Bronny’s recovery and well-being. LeBron, who had previously expressed his desire to play alongside his son in the NBA, now has a more immediate concern: his son’s health.
