Cameron Diaz Finishes Shooting Despite Jamie Foxx’s Illness

Cameron Diaz was reportedly shocked and saddened by her co-star Jamie Foxx’s recent health crisis, according to a source close to the actress.

The duo is involved in the forthcoming Netflix film “Back in Action,” representing Diaz’s eagerly awaited comeback to the acting scene following a nine-year break. Nevertheless, Foxx’s health incident on April 12, necessitating his hospitalization, caused a temporary halt in the movie’s shooting schedule.

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Fox, referred to the situation as a “medical complication” and gave reassurances that her father was recuperating well due to prompt attention and excellent medical services. A few days later, the movie resumed production, using a stand-in to perform Foxx’s parts in certain scenes.

Foxx’s sudden disappearance from the set was unsettling for Diaz. As per the source, Foxx was with them one day, and the next day, he was absent. Diaz was keen to provide assistance and support, but Foxx’s family has kept his health details confidential.

While the particulars of Foxx’s medical condition are still kept under wraps, positive news has been shared by his daughter and his co-star Porsche Coleman. Corinne disclosed on Instagram that her father had left the hospital several weeks ago and was recovering nicely. Coleman, Foxx’s co-star in the Netflix series “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!”, told fans at the 2023 BET Awards that Foxx was on the mend and would be back shortly.

After wrapping up the movie, Diaz took a break for a European holiday with her family. Despite the hiatus from her acting career in 2014 to concentrate on her family, sources indicate that Diaz’s enthusiasm for acting has been rekindled after “Back in Action.” Diaz continues to prioritize her family, thoroughly enjoying her role as a mother.

Completing the filming and the intense and grueling shooting schedule for “Back in Action” was a relief to Diaz, according to the same informant.
