Prince Harry is reportedly contemplating stepping back from the glamorous Hollywood life that he and Meghan Markle have been living since departing from their royal duties in 2020.
The decision is reportedly being considered following the end of Markle’s Spotify podcast, “Archetypes.”
In contrast, Meghan, aged 41, seems absorbed in planning her future endeavors. However, insiders suggest that Harry, aged 38, may wish to take a less prominent role. This speculation is fueled by recent articles in the Daily Mail questioning the Prince’s adaptation to the entertainment industry.
The cancellation of Markle’s Spotify podcast, “Archetypes,” despite having a $20 million deal for the show, seems to be influencing this reconsideration. The podcast, which featured only 12 episodes with guest stars including Serena Williams and Paris Hilton, was terminated, but both parties expressed satisfaction in their collaboration.
Meanwhile, a Netflix spokesperson has voiced the ongoing robustness of the Sussexes’ collaboration with the streaming platform, reconfirming their partnership with Archewell Productions. Their documentary, “Harry & Meghan,” has been named as Netflix’s most successful debut. The $100 million deal, made in 2021, includes other upcoming projects such as the documentary series “Heart of Invictus.”
As Meghan reportedly engages in dialogue with the fashion house Dior and her talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, works to revamp her image, Harry’s potential departure from Hollywood may denote a divergence in the couple’s future plans.
