A 27-year-old mother tragically lost her life after being accidentally run over by a lawnmower while lying in an area of tall grass at Beard Brook Park in Modesto, California, on July 8.
A landscaping employee unknowingly drove over Christine Chavez while operating a John Deere with a pull-behind mower.
Following the incident, the operator discovered the victim’s clothing and scattered body parts, which led to the realization of the horrifying accident.
Christopher Chavez, the deceased’s father, arrived at the shocking scene shortly after the accident and immediately contacted the police.
Christine Chavez was reportedly homeless at the time of the incident.
The victim leaves behind a nine-year-old daughter, who is now under the care of other family members.
