Former NFL athlete Alex Collins, aged 28, had a fatal motorcycle mishap in Miami, Florida.
While riding his Suzuki Motor GSX-R600K, Collins encountered a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban SUV, resulting in him being thrown through the vehicle’s window. He was immediately confirmed dead at the crash site. This tragedy happened days before Collins was set to mark his 29th birthday on August 26.
His journey in the NFL began with the Seattle Seahawks picking him in the 2016 draft’s fifth round. After a season, he became a part of the Baltimore Ravens until 2018.
In addition to his prowess on the football field, Collins was renowned for his engagement in Irish dancing, which he used for fitness and agility. Robert Griffin III, his former Ravens teammate, reminisced about Collins by sharing a video of him dancing.
Another past teammate, Russell Wilson, offered his respects online. Several organizations, including the NFL, Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, and Arkansas Razorbacks, expressed their sympathy. Kelli Masters, his agent, highlighted his perseverance and positivity in her tribute.
