A tragic event unfolded in Philadelphia when three men lost their lives and another was critically injured in a shooting at a basketball court.
The incident took place around 6 pm on Friday, August 11, at the courts situated at 8th and Diamond in North Philadelphia.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, shots were fired by five males from a vehicle, targeting individuals on the court. After the shooting, they fled the scene.
Deputy Commissioner James Kelly mentioned that while children were present during the incident, they remained safe. Nearby homes were also hit by stray bullets.
Twenty-one-year-old Isiah Williams was later pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital. Another victim, a 23-year-old male, is battling life-threatening injuries. Nyreese Moore, 22, and Naasir Folk, 24, were confirmed dead on-site.
