Drunken Brawl Breaks Out on Popular Airline

A video depicting a turbulent scene aboard a Ryanair flight has surfaced, in which a heavily intoxicated woman initiated a brawl with fellow passengers shortly prior to the flight’s departure to Ibiza.

The incident occurred on Monday, August 21 at 3 pm during a flight slated to embark from Manchester, United Kingdom. The woman, dressed in a pink top, engaged in a heated exchange with another passenger, culminating in a scuffle that a passenger, Lyndsay Cash, documented in the video footage.

As tensions escalated, the woman was subdued in a headlock after issuing repetitive threats.

Accompanied by men believed to be her family, the argument’s intensity heightened, with an individual in a green shirt trying to separate the feuding parties and mitigate the situation.

Witness Lyndsay Cash, a beautician hailing from Wigan, Greater Manchester, recalled that the woman had been causing disruptions from the moment of boarding, propelled by her drunk state.

Cash critiqued the airline’s response, highlighting that passengers were left to manage the chaos on their own and that the stewardesses were ineffective.

The Greater Manchester police were alerted to the fracas, leading to the ejection of the woman and three additional people from the aircraft amid applause from the other passengers.

All four people were apprehended; two men and the woman, in their 30’s, were detained for suspected inebriation and alleged assault on police officers.

The airline, Ryanair, expressed remorse for the disruption, attributing it to a “small number of passengers” and emphasizing that the authorities were now handling the matter.
