Prominent Businessman’s Son Dies in Accident at Work

In an unfortunate incident, the son of a well-known automotive giant passed away over the weekend following an accident on the Sanderson Ford premises in Glendale, Arizona. 

The incident occurred when Andrew Kimmerle, 41, riding an electric scooter at a considerable speed, collided with a pickup truck operated by a company employee.

Andrew Kimmerle was notably the son of Sanderson Ford’s President, Dave Kimmerle.

According to a report from the Glendale Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Maryland Avenue, located in the Sanderson Ford lot. 

Kimmerle’s scooter collided with the pickup truck as it executed a left turn, with both parties seemingly unaware of each other’s presence until the collision occurred. Authorities confirmed that no citations were issued to the driver over the accident.

Following the incident, Kimmerle was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment, but his injuries proved fatal, leading to his death on Sunday, August 20. At the time of the accident, Kimmerle held the position of business manager at Sanderson Ford, a role he was actively engaged in.
