Florida Alligator Spotted Walking Down Street With Human Body

In Largo, Florida, a startling sight was seen when a huge alligator was spotted moving a human body along a street, eventually leading it to a nearby water source.

JaMarcus Bullard, a local resident, was among the first to notice. He detailed seeing the creature, measuring 13-feet 8.5 inches, grasping the lower half of a human body. He took immediate action, notifying the authorities and documenting the event.

Largo police, with the assistance of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, acted swiftly. The alligator was humanely euthanized, allowing the recovery of the body from the water. Identification processes revealed the deceased as 41-year-old Sabrina Peckham.

The circumstances leading to this incident remain uncertain. While it’s common for alligators to inhabit Florida water bodies, it’s rare to witness such a large reptile navigating urban spaces with human remains. Numerous local individuals saw and documented the alarming sight.

Authorities are presently examining the circumstances of Sabrina Peckham’s death. An upcoming autopsy is set to determine the exact cause. It has been noted that in July, Peckham was arrested for trespassing into a county wetland.
