A disconcerting find was made on Wednesday evening, September 20, when human remains were found in a recycle bin of a TD Bank in Queens, New York City. An anonymous 911 call was placed to the police after the caller spotted an object resembling a foot emerging from the dumpster.
Upon their arrival at the site close to 6:30 pm, the authorities confirmed the presence of a decomposed human leg, which was inside a recycling bin. The next steps involve forensic studies by the authorities to identify the individual and to unravel the mystery.
The TD Bank, which is positioned at 164th Street and Union Turnpike in the Hillcrest vicinity, is now a significant part of the inquiry.
