The body of an Arizona woman who had vanished earlier this month was found over 550 miles away from her home, bringing a grim resolution to her disappearance.
On Monday, November 6, in Huntington Beach, California, authorities discovered Christi Lynn Romero, 54, dead inside the trunk of her car. Her estranged boyfriend, Richard Paul Rodriguez, 34, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Romero, a resident of Holbrook, Arizona, had been reported missing by family members who had grown concerned after she did not respond to phone calls.
