The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is searching for a 35-year-old woman who is suspected of murdering two of her children and injuring a third in a horrific incident that occurred just before Christmas.

The incident occurred in the Stetson Hills area of Colorado Springs.

On December 19, 2023, CSPD responded to a 911 call reporting a burglary at a home on Palomino Ranch Point.

Upon arrival, officers found Kimberlee Singler, the mom, and her 11-year-old daughter both suffering from injuries. Also discovered were the lifeless bodies of her other two offspring, a boy aged seven and a girl aged nine.

Initial reports suggested a burglary, but as CSPD delved deeper into the case, they determined these claims to be unfounded.

By December 26, investigators had gathered enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant for Singler, who faces multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, child abuse, and assault.

The suspect was last seen on December 23, and her current whereabouts remain unknown. The CSPD and the FBI’s Denver office are actively involved in the search. A $10 million bond was set for her by the court.

Authorities have not disclosed details about the nature of the injuries suffered by Singler or her children.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, and CSPD is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to Singler’s location. Individuals with information are encouraged to contact CSPD.

The Colorado Springs area, known for its tranquility and family-friendly environment, is now grappling with the reality of this tragic incident.
