Adam Harrison, son of ‘Pawn Stars’ creator Rick Harrison, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 39 years old.
The announcement of Adam’s death was made public by his father, Rick Harrison, through an emotional Instagram post where he shared a photo of himself and his late son. He conveyed his love for Adam in the post.
“You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam,” Rick wrote, accompanied by a broken heart emoji. This post drew many sympathetic responses, with friends and followers expressing their condolences and offering support.
Adam’s brother, Corey Harrison, also expressed his grief on Instagram. He shared a childhood photo and wrote a heartfelt message, “I will always love you bubba,” in his post.
Through their Public Relations Representative, Laura Herlovich, the Harrison family revealed that the cause of Adam’s death was a fentanyl overdose.
Rick Harrison, who is best known for his role on the History Channel show “Pawn Stars,” has been on the show since it started in 2009.
“Pawn Stars” focuses on the family dynamics and business dealings of the Harrisons. Adam Harrison, however, was not a part of the show. Reports suggest that he had worked at the family’s pawn shop at one point.
While the show prominently features Rick’s eldest son, Corey Harrison, his youngest son, Jake Harrison, has also started making appearances in recent years.
The Harrison family is mourning the loss of Adam and has requested privacy during this difficult time. Adam is survived by his parents, his brother Corey, his half-brother Jake, and his three daughters.
