His death occurred on January 22, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. Graham’s passing was confirmed by his wife, Becky Graham, with whom he shared nearly 25 years of marriage.
Born on June 7, 1950, in Long Beach, California, Gary Graham carved a niche for himself in the science fiction genre.
He is most remembered for his portrayal of Ambassador Soval, a Vulcan character, in “Star Trek: Enterprise.” Graham’s involvement in the “Star Trek” franchise extended beyond this role, as he guest-starred in “Star Trek: Voyager” and appeared in two fan films, bringing depth and nuance to his performances.
Graham’s early career saw him feature in various TV shows and films during the 1970s and 1980s, including “The Incredible Hulk,” “Starsky and Hutch,” and “Police Woman.”
His breakthrough role came in 1989 when he starred as Detective Matthew Sikes in the television series “Alien Nation.” This role became a significant part of his legacy, with Graham reprising it in five subsequent television movies spanning from 1994 to 1997.
