In the early hours of Saturday morning, June 29, 2024, a quiet neighborhood in Sharpsburg, Georgia, was shaken by an incident that left four people dead. The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case as a murder-suicide.
Authorities responded to multiple 911 calls just after 1 a.m. and arrived at a home on Crabapple Court to find two bodies in the driveway and another in the doorway. As deputies arrived, a man ran into the house, and a gunshot was heard shortly after. The SWAT team was called in to secure the home, where they discovered the body of the shooter.
The coroner’s office has identified the victims as Joshua Wimmer, 32, Parker Anderson, 31, and Tina Sasser, 56. The shooter was identified as Brandon Suckow, 32. The relationships between the victims and the shooter are still unclear, and the motive remains unknown.

Another resident, Brandi Wright, described hearing a noise she initially mistook for thunder. “It had just started raining, and my mom mentioned, ‘Did you hear that? It sounds like thunder.’ I replied, ‘I don’t think that was thunder.’ It sounded just like a gunshot because it was much louder than thunder.”
Tina Sasser’s daughter, Brittany Carter, described her mother as “a wonderful human being who would give you the shirt off her back and help anybody that needed it.” Sasser’s death has deeply affected those who knew her.
