Former First Lady Melania Trump’s memoir, “Melania,” has climbed to the top of several Amazon bestseller categories more than a month before its release date. Scheduled to hit the shelves on October 1, 2024, the book has already secured the number one spot in Amazon’s Memoirs, U.S. Presidents, and Political Leader Biographies categories.

Reflecting on the writing process, Melania described the experience as “an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows.” She noted that the process helped her reflect on her life, stating, “Each story shaped me into who I am today.”

Melania promises to give readers an intimate glimpse into her life, from her childhood in Slovenia to her rise in the fashion industry and eventually becoming First Lady of the United States. Skyhorse Publishing, a publisher known for its conservative titles, will release the book in two editions: a standard version and a collector’s edition. The collector’s edition is expected to include additional photographs and a digital collectible, but according to some sources, its release date may vary from the standard version.

The memoir is a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her path, overcome adversity, and defined personal excellence. Melania Trump, who maintained a relatively low profile during her husband’s presidency, used her position to advocate for child welfare through her “Be Best” campaign. Her work focused on improving children’s well-being, especially in social media, bullying, and mental health.

Since leaving the White House, Melania Trump has mostly remained out of the political spotlight but has continued her philanthropic efforts through the “Fostering the Future” initiative. The program provides scholarships and educational opportunities for children in the foster care system. Many recipient students are currently enrolled in various universities across the U.S., focusing on fields like technology and computer science.

Although writing the memoir presented challenges, Melania found it rewarding. “The process reminded me of my strength and the beauty of sharing my truth,” she said.

In addition to writing, Melania Trump has ventured into business since leaving Washington, D.C., launching a jewelry line earlier this year that honors mothers. A part of the revenue generated from her jewelry sales is allocated to her Fostering the Future initiative. In a statement, she highlighted that mothers played a central role in the foundation of the American family and reiterated her ongoing dedication to helping families and children.

Her efforts as First Lady were also widely recognized, particularly her work to improve the foster care system. She hosted virtual roundtables to discuss the system’s challenges and helped secure funding for educational grants for foster youth. Her advocacy culminated in legislation signed by then-President Donald Trump in December 2020, providing financial support for foster youth pursuing college or vocational training programs.

Melania Trump has also tapped into the NFT (non-fungible token) market, creating unique digital assets, with portions of the proceeds going to her philanthropic initiatives. Despite her low profile, she remains dedicated to her charitable causes, continuing to advocate for foster children.

As the release date for Melania approaches, the book’s pre-order success signals a strong public interest in Melania Trump’s life story and the lasting impact of her advocacy. The memoir is set to provide a new perspective on her time in the White House and insights into her personal life and her dedication to helping children in need.
