Melania Trump Breaks Silence in Rare Interview

In a rare television interview that aired on September 26, former First Lady Melania Trump addressed two assassination attempts on her husband, former President Donald Trump, and expressed her anger over the FBI raid on their Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Speaking with “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt, Melania Trump described the survival of her husband from two reported assassination attempts as “miracles.” The first incident occurred on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Donald Trump was grazed by a bullet. Melania recounted her immediate reaction upon learning of the event.

“I ran to the TV and I rewind[ed] it and I watched it,” Melania said of her first response after being told by her chief of staff that her husband was OK but that there had been a shooting at the rally.

The second alleged attempt took place on September 15 near their Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, while the former president was golfing. Melania Trump said she learned about this incident from television as well.

The former first lady criticized what she referred to as the “opposition party and mainstream media” for creating a toxic atmosphere that she believes contributed to these incidents.

Melania Trump also discussed the August 2022 FBI raid on their Mar-a-Lago residence, which was part of an investigation into the handling of classified documents. She described the search as an invasion of privacy that left her feeling angry.

She said that FBI agents searched through her wardrobe and her son Barron’s room during the raid.

The interview marks Melania Trump’s first television appearance in more than two years. It comes as she prepares to release a memoir titled “Melania,” which she says will put the record straight and share previously undiscussed aspects of her life.

During the interview, the former First Lady also touched on her husband’s potential presidential run and defended his policies. She claimed that under Donald Trump’s leadership, the country experienced peace and strength and had a safer border compared to the current administration.

When asked about the possibility of Vice President Kamala Harris replacing President Joe Biden, Melania Trump responded simply that, in her opinion, the record speaks for itself.
