Melania Trump Slams Biden/Harris Administration

Melania Trump, former First Lady, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration in her first television interview in two years. She placed the blame squarely on them for the ongoing issues the United States is grappling with.

During her appearance on “Fox & Friends” on September 26, the 54-year-old Trump expressed her concerns about several problems she attributes to failures of the current administration, stating that American citizens are “suffering” due to policies implemented under Biden and Harris.

“The record speaks for itself,” Trump said, implying the administration’s lackluster performance. She stated that Biden and Harris have created a situation where citizens struggle to afford basic necessities for their families.

Trump also drew attention to international conflicts and domestic security issues, including the situation at the country’s southern border. “We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying. They were dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over, killing our youth. It’s very hard to see,” Trump further stated.

While she did not call Biden or Harris by their names, Trump’s criticisms were apparent. She highlighted the upcoming November 5th election as an opportunity for Americans to express their views. “The fate of the country is in the people’s hands,” she said, encouraging citizens to vote for change.

Trump’s rare public commentary coincides with her husband, former President Donald Trump’s campaign for another presidential term. The 78-year-old has been traversing the United States in his quest for re-election in 2024. In her opinion, he is the candidate who can restore prosperity and safety to the nation. “All [Donald Trump] wants to [do], as he says, make America great again. He wants to make this country prosperous, safe for everybody. He wants to make [the] American dream possible again,” she added.

Throughout her tenure as First Lady, Melania Trump mostly stayed out of the limelight. In the interview, she spoke about her personal experiences, stating that her past career as a fashion model equipped her to handle the pressures of public life. “Nothing prepared me more to be first lady in front of the world than the fashion industry,” she said. “It gives you a thick skin.”

The interview also served as a precursor to the release of her memoir, “Melania,” which is slated for release next month. The book aims to provide a close look into her life, from her beginnings in Slovenia to her time in the White House. In the book’s promotional video, she addresses her decision to take nude photos earlier in her modeling career.

Trump has been using social media platforms to give a preview of her book’s content and clarify certain aspects of her life, which she feels have been misunderstood or misinterpreted in the media.

During the “Fox & Friends” interview, she discussed two assassination attempts on her husband. The first occurred at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, and the second at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. She expressed her shock and relief at her husband’s survival in both instances. “I ran to the TV and, I rewind it and I watched it,” she reminisced about the Butler incident. “Nobody really knew yet because when you see him, on the floor and you don’t know, you don’t know what really happened.”

Both incidents left her shaken, but Trump praised the Secret Service and her husband’s resilience for his safety. She referred to his survival as “miracles.”

On a personal note, the former First Lady revealed that Donald Trump had encouraged her to have more children beyond their son, Barron. “I was always, perfectly fine with one. And Donald was encouraging to have more,” she said. She added that they chose to have only one child given her husband’s busy schedule and her desire to effectively manage their household.

As the 2024 election nears, Melania Trump’s remarks and the upcoming release of her memoir are anticipated to shine a spotlight on her husband’s campaign. Even though she has kept a low political profile in recent years, her comments indicate a firm commitment to supporting Donald Trump and his vision for America.
