Actor Bruce Willis was seen smiling during a rare public appearance in Studio City, Los Angeles on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was photographed as a passenger in a car. The 69-year-old “Die Hard” star wore a black Los Angeles cap, a black jacket, and a white T-shirt as he rested his forearm on the car window.
The sighting comes amid ongoing health updates from Willis’s family following his frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis in 2023. His ex-wife, Demi Moore, recently shared that Willis is “stable” while acknowledging the progression of his condition. “Being able to share with them whatever we have for however long we have it… I just feel so blessed,” Moore stated during a recent visit with Willis and their granddaughter Louetta.
Willis’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, has been transparent about the family’s journey, revealing early signs of change before the formal diagnosis. “His language started changing,” Heming Willis shared, noting that their young daughters observed his declining condition. She is set to receive recognition from the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration for her advocacy work.
The actor’s daughter Tallulah has described his condition as “really aggressive” while emphasizing the love she sees when spending time with him.
Willis retired from acting in 2022 following an initial diagnosis of aphasia, which later progressed to FTD. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention describes FTD as a type of dementia marked by personality and behavior changes, as well as problems with language skills.
The actor’s blended family includes three daughters – Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30 – with Moore, and two daughters – Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10 – with Heming Willis. His oldest daughter, Rumer, recently reported that Willis is “doing really well” and enjoys spending time with his granddaughter.
