A 31-year-old Brazilian model and OnlyFans content creator was found dead floating in a harbor in Miami, Florida, on September 22, following a party on a rapper’s yacht.
Adriana Vieira, known on social media as LadyRichForever, was last seen swimming in the harbor the night before her body was discovered. Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Vieira’s death.
In a haunting last image shared by Vieira just one day prior to her discovery, two women in bikinis are seen on a yacht with a bottle of champagne prominently displayed in the foreground.
Vieira provided adult material on OnlyFans via a subscription model set at $14 each month.
Vieira was a dancer and model in the United States and took part in Miami Swim Week last year.
The model’s body is being held for an autopsy by a medical examiner. Vieira’s mother, Antonia de Lourdes Vieira, has appealed for help in investigating her daughter’s death and bringing her body back to Brazil.
“I want my daughter’s death to be investigated and need help to bring her body back,” Antonia de Lourdes Vieira told Brazilian media. “I don’t know how long I have until she’s buried in a pauper’s grave.”
Vieira, originally from Sao Paulo, had moved to Florida two years ago with her husband, Roberto Tesario. The couple shared photos of their lavish lifestyle on social media. However, Tesario reportedly returned to Brazil shortly after their arrival, leaving Vieira to raise their six-year-old son alone.
The child is currently in the care of a nanny while Vieira’s family travels to the United States to identify her body.
The name of the rapper who hosted the party has not been released by authorities.
Vieira’s death has raised questions about the process of repatriating bodies from the United States to Brazil. International repatriation services typically involve several steps, including preparing the body, selecting an appropriate coffin, and obtaining necessary documentation.
According to BE Assistance, a company specializing in repatriation services, the process of returning a body to Brazil usually takes 5-10 working days from the date the deceased is released by local authorities. Required documents include original death certificates, the deceased’s passport, burial and travel permissions, an embalming report, and a non-contagious disease certificate.
The investigation into Vieira’s death is ongoing, and authorities have not released details on how she ended up in the water. Her mother’s concerns about a potential pauper’s burial highlight the complexities and time sensitivity of international repatriation processes.
