Mass Shooting: 7 Wounded in Holiday Weekend Rampage

Seven individuals, including two minors, sustained injuries during a mass shooting at Kate Campbell Park in Jackson, Tennessee, on the evening of Saturday, May 24, as reported by the Jackson Police Department.

Authorities arrived at the scene, situated at 2700 North Parkway East, around 8:41 p.m. following reports of gunfire involving juveniles. Upon their arrival, officers found several people with gunshot wounds spread throughout the park.

One person was initially in critical condition but has since stabilized at a nearby hospital. The remaining six victims received medical care and have been discharged from local medical facilities.
