Price Is Right Player CRUSHES Competition

A contestant on “The Price Is Right” pulled off a stunning double victory this week, winning not one but two cars in a single episode—a feat rarely seen in the show’s decades-long history.

Madeleine Vilano became the biggest winner of the night on the March 11, 2025 episode, walking away with an estimated $59,751 in cash and prizes after a nail-biting performance that had host Drew Carey and the audience on the edge of their seats.

Vilano’s lucky streak began when she won the second item up for bid—a pair of Robosen programmable robots with 41 voice commands and nine dance moves—with a bid of $501. The actual retail price was $598, earning her a trip to the stage to play the popular pricing game Lucky Seven for a blue 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport.

Lucky Seven presents contestants with a high-stakes challenge. Players receive seven one-dollar bills and must guess the remaining four digits of a car’s price after being given the first digit—usually a two. For every number they miss, they lose that many dollars. The catch: they must have at least one dollar remaining by the final guess, or they lose everything.

Vilano’s journey through the game proved heart-stopping. She guessed three for the second number when the answer was four, losing $1 and leaving her with $6. For the third digit, she picked eight and bit her hand in anticipation. When the number was revealed to match her guess, she screamed, jumped, and threw her hands above her head.

The fourth number proved trickier. After turning to the audience for advice, Vilano told Carey she wanted to pick six. The actual number was nine, costing her $3 and leaving her with just $3 remaining. This meant she could only be off by $2 on the final digit—or lose the car entirely.

Vilano picked five for the last number. The correct answer was three, leaving her with exactly $1.

“Yes! You got it,” Carey said as Vilano erupted in celebration.

Vilano screamed and hugged the host, then folded herself over the Hyundai as Carey chuckled. When she climbed into the driver’s seat, she wiggled excitedly and blew kisses to the camera as the show faded to commercial.

But Vilano’s remarkable day was far from over. During the Showcase Showdown, she spun the wheel and landed on exactly $1—a perfect spin that earned her an additional $1,000 and a spot in the final Showcase round.

In the Showcase, Vilano bid $30,000 on a prize package that included a five-night trip to Alaska, designer jewelry, and a 2025 Kia Soul LX. The actual retail price was $33,260, putting her $3,260 off the mark. However, her opponent’s bid exceeded the actual value, automatically giving Vilano the victory and her second car of the day.

Winning two cars in a single episode represents one of the rarest achievements in “The Price Is Right” history. The show, which has been a staple of American television since its CBS debut on September 4, 1972, regularly produces memorable moments, but dual car wins remain exceptionally uncommon.

Vilano’s victory stands in stark contrast to other recent episodes where contestants came close but fell short. Just weeks ago, another contestant lost $10,000 despite playing a perfect game, while others have seen their dreams dashed by a single wrong guess.

The Lucky Seven game has produced some of the show’s most dramatic moments over the years. The simple premise—guess correctly or watch your chances literally slip away dollar by dollar—creates tension that translates perfectly to television. Vilano’s performance, coming down to her final dollar, exemplified why the game remains a fan favorite.

“The Price Is Right” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Central on CBS, with episodes available to stream the next day on Paramount+. Drew Carey has hosted the show since 2007, taking over from legendary host Bob Barker, who helmed the program from its 1972 premiere until his retirement.

For Vilano, what started as a chance to win a pair of dancing robots turned into a day she’ll never forget—and a garage that suddenly needs a lot more space.
